Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (HA) & Period Recovery Support
If you’ve lost your period due to under-fuelling, stress, or exercise or you’ve been diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA), this 1:1 support is designed to help you get your period back and support long-term cycle health.
I work with women recovering from HA and eating disorders to restore energy availability, support hormone health, and rebuild a consistent menstrual cycle, without dieting, restriction, or fear-based approaches.
This is evidence-based dietetic care focused on sustainable period recovery, not quick fixes.

Period recovery isn't a one-off fix — it takes consistent support as your body adjusts and your cycle responds. This is the package most clients choose because it gives you enough time and touch points to actually see your period return and stay regular.
The 3 month package is the one Christina recommends for most clients starting HA or period recovery.
After purchasing any package, you'll be able to book your initial appointment and use your package code to schedule your follow-up sessions.
FAQs
How long does recovery usually take?
1
his varies from person to person and depends on how long your period has been absent, your current energy availability, and your recovery history. Many clients see meaningful progress within 2–3 months of consistent support, which is why the 3-Month Package is the most commonly recommended starting point.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
2
No referral is required to book a consultation, though if you have a GP or specialist involved in your care, Christina is happy to work alongside them.
Is this covered by Medicare or private health insurance?
3
Medicare rebates are available if you have an Eating Disorder Management Plan (EDMP) or GP Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) from your doctor. Private health rebates may also be available depending on your fund and level of cover — check with your provider to confirm your eligibility.
What if I've already tried "eating more" and nothing happened?
4
This is really common. Often it's not about eating more in general, but about the specific amount, consistency, and timing your body needs plus addressing the stress and exercise factors keeping your body in a "not safe to menstruate" state. This is exactly what 1:1 support is designed to work through with you.
Do sessions happen online or in person?
5
Sessions are held online via Zoom, so you can access support from anywhere. If you can't find a time that works for you, send an email and Christina will look at a time that suits.
What happens after I purchase a package?
6
You'll be able to book your initial appointment straight away, and you'll receive a package code to schedule your follow-up sessions as you go.
